New Year Resolutions
My New Year Resolutions
I believe that our new year resolutions shouldn't be complex. It should be detailed, but not complex. Here's the thing, we must be so motivated when we start our yearly goals right? January, February, it still feels light for us, but when it reaches March, April, and May, it starts to collapse because demotivation hits us.
We are still facing that when we start our simple goals, as simple as exercising regularly. So, the key is to make detailed goals and track it in a journal.
There are so many things that I want to do this year, especially on my self-developing aspect and I want to share it with you guys.
1. To be good at tennis
I always feel like I'm not born to be athletic and I am always more like an artistic person. But I want to change that. My first goal is to be good at tennis. It doesn't have to be extremely good, but what I mean is to train consistently, 2 times a week on Sunday morning.
2. Publish an ebook
I am always scared to share my opinion, my ideas, and I want to change that by publishing a book. I have wanted to do it for years, but I am always waiting for the right time to come and I finally realized that the idea of "the right time" is not true. There is no thing such as the right time. My strategy is to write for a minimum of 20 minutes per day.
3. Improve my grades
There's a quote that says something like "If you're the smart one in a room, then you are entering the wrong room." I feel like there's always room for me to improve my grades.
My friends and teachers have always labeled me as a persistent and diligent kind of person since I was a kid. I believe that my traits can be a strength and a tool to achieve my goals.
